The Robust Vertically Opening Door for Continuous Demanding OperationFor normal external traffic-flow situations: light, friendly and safeA heavy-duty door with 4 mm thick, fully transparent curtain ensuring safe transport routes and good visual contact. The opening speed of 0.8 m/s is designed for doors up 5000mm H x 6000mm W in normal operation. The tried-and-tested inversion relay control system is entirely sufficient to ensure safe door operation. Fold-out sideframes facilitate maintenance procedures. The operator and shaft are borne by the cantilever sideframes housing the photocell, energy chain and the side tensioning and pull mechanism. Brush seals reduce drafts. When the S 800 is exposed to high wind pressures, we recommend using additional aluminium wind safety profiles to give the curtain the necessary rigidity. By using the wind safety profile, a vinyl panel and fully transparent curtain can also be combined. ControlsVarious types of opening and closing control systems are available to meet individual operational requirements, including induction loop, radio control, radar, photocell, push-button or pull-switch. Every door is supplied with a programmable controller. |

The Double-Skinned Steel Sectional Door with High Thermal Insulation.Efficient space usageBecause the M.T.I. Qualos - Hörmann Sectional Doors open vertically, useful space is not wasted around the opening because the door sections are parked underneath the ceiling, parallel to the ceiling or vertically on the wall, depending on the customers requirements.
The right decision for temperature-controlled buildings. On SPU 40 doors the double-skinned sections are 42mm thick throughout. The strong insulating core of 100% CFC-free polyurethane rigid foam gives the door exceptionally good insulating properties. Door sections with perfect long-term protection.Hot galvanised material and the adhering polyester promer coating offer the best possible protection against the adverse effects of the elements. And the additional stucco embossing of the surface makes the door sections considerably less susceptable to damage and wear than is the case with a smooth surface. Surface: inside and outside in off-white (based on RAL 9002). Other colours to RAL available on request. ControlsThe state-of-the-art operators and controls we offer are manufactured and developed in Hörmann factories throughout Germany. Reliability.Perfectly matched components, which have been subject to long duration testing, give you the assurance that your door will perform with absolute reliability. |
